民视真命天子是闽南语电视剧，于1998年在台湾拍摄，由林添并执导，于台湾民视和泉州电视台4套播出。分为两个单元：第一单元为《朱元璋传奇》，白眉老人预测元朝气数将尽，刘伯温奉命辅助真命天子登基的故事；第二单元为《赵匡胤传奇》，金龙童子和赤龙童子与百花仙子一同下凡，两人下凡成为结拜兄弟，金龙童子下凡成为赵匡胤，成就另一个真命天子的传奇故事，结束动乱，建立宋朝。
妙州知府冯少卿（闾汉彪饰）与夫人正在为女儿冯素贞（黄奕饰）的婚事而犯愁。才貌双全的素贞本与青梅竹马的李兆廷（王斑饰）情投意合，却因出众的美貌引得无数王孙公子前来比武招亲。其中最为甚者，一个是侯爷公子东方胜（乔振宇饰），一个是相国公子刘长赢（张明健饰）。多方威逼陷害下，素贞与兆廷这对有情人终被无情拆散，素贞“死”去，冯府败落。死而复生的素贞为报仇雪恨，女扮男装，化名冯绍民参加科考成为新科状元。皇帝爱其出众才华与不凡相貌，欲将天香公主（袁郡梅饰）许配给绍民，但天香公主早已芳心暗许江湖杀手一剑飘红（黑子饰）。与此同时，暗潮涌动的朝堂纷争更让素贞无可分身，与奸侫之人斗智斗勇的生死之争旋即上演。 根据民间传奇黄梅戏《女驸马》改编而成的22集古装电视剧《新女驸马》，由黄奕、袁郡梅、乔振宇、王斑、阿斯茹等领衔出演。扑朔迷离的剧情设置，虚实相映的史实故事，皆为这段极具传奇色彩的千古绝恋增色不少。

James Purefoy stars as William Travers, a criminal barrister who is recovering from a traumatic series of events that have shaken his belief in the legal system.
